Who are we?

The Association “Afak for Internal Security and Customs” is a non-profit and independent Tunisian association, founded in 2012 with the aim of supporting internal security and enhancing cooperation between security institutions and civil society.
The association seeks to build bridges of trust between security personnel and society and enhance security culture with a focus on promoting national values ​​and achieving sustainable development.

Our goals:
Work on reforming and developing the institutions of the armed civil forces and finding and presenting projects and studies to the relevant parties
Work on developing the profession and respecting its own laws
Studying the conditions, methods and work tools of the armed civil forces personnel and their relationship with the supervisory authority and proposals for its development
Issuing educational and scientific publications for its members
Encouraging and exchanging experiences
Raising the level of specialization scientifically, socially and culturally
The association is based on two basic principles:
. 1/ Cooperation and inclusiveness: The association seeks to achieve fruitful partnerships with various official and civil bodies without excluding any party, believing that joint work achieves better results.
2/ Community Empowerment: The Association believes in the importance of empowering youth and the local community to be part of the solutions that contribute to improving security and social conditions.
